ENVIRONMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT FOR FUND MANAGERS 


In June 2020, the Monetary Authority of Singapore commenced a series of three public consultations on Environmental Risk Management (ERM) for Banks, Insurers and Asset (Fund) Managers. Following public feedback, MAS proceeded to issue a set of Guidelines on Environmental Risk Management for all the three groups financial institution in December 2020. The MAS ERM Guidelines are comprehensive and not only aligns with Singapore ambition to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, but also sets the foundation to build Singapore as an international green finance hub.
